Anyone else have a husband taking short leave?

My husband is eligible to take 12 weeks of unpaid leave but we frankly just can’t afford for him to do so. I’ll be getting short-term disability, and he won’t be getting anything outside of cashing out a few days of PTO. We’ll be able to save enough for maybe 6 weeks of time off at best; but he’ll be going back to work after that. He had 12 weeks (mostly paid) with our first son (because we lived in California).

I’m having a c-section and have a two year old boy. Needless to say, I’m worried.

Anyone else facing the same predicament?
