So... little rant/back story first..lol. I’ll be 9 weeks tomorrow (pregnant with our first) and this past week we finally had our ultrasound and seen our little babe. We haven’t told anyone yet, including our parents. My husband assumed we’d tell his parents as soon as we had the ultrasound, but I said no because my parents live out of town (5.5 hours away) and we’re going there next weekend to tell them. He didn’t understand my frustration with telling his parents and having to wait almost two weeks to tell mine, but I’m not being crazy with that right? Maybe I’m just putting off having to deal with his crazy mom for as long as I can, lol. I’m dying to tell people too but to me that just doesn’t seem fair to my parents.

Ok, nowwww here’s the main reason for this post. Do you guys have any cute suggestions for telling the parents? What did you do? What you plan to do? We’re due Sept.30th, and very excited, and we know our parents will be too. We have a cat and dog, I had a bunny who recently passed. We’re both animal lovers so was thinking about telling them we’re getting a new pet and then ask if they want to see, and then show them the ultrasound photo. But then I think maybe it’s lame and I feel bad calling our baby a pet, haha.
