After so many months they will have their wages garnished and could lose their drivers license and/or get jail time.

Nothing really happens I mean license suspended, jail time, but the most important is a bill being racked up and your child not getting all the help to they should, and WHY NOT?

Garnish wages/tax returns. Lose licenses. In my husband's line of work they can lose their Journeyman's license too which messes with their jobs and income. Then contempt of court and jail time.
