Been seeing this guy for a couple months now, we are not bf/gf and we usually go on dates or just hang out at his place.. I went over to his house yesterday and Watched movies but I want to see him again.. should I ask him out to the movies as an excuse?

You sound young. You don’t need an “excuse” to see someone. This is a person you’ve been seeing for a few months so it’s completely normal to ask them to the movies or go to dinner or whatever.
