I'm a FTM so not sure if what I'm doing is correct but seems to be working for my baby so far. Just need some advice.

I started breastfeeding in hospital and baby would not latch but one time so I used nipple shields and they seemed to help. Well baby after being circumcised did not eat for 13 hours. So now he was gassy and wont take breast at all. I ended up starting to pump on 3 PP my colostrum and supplementing formula. Baby seems happy and satisfied. I have been pumping every 4 hours getting about 3/4 to 1 oz of colostrum. When should my milk come in? I'm afraid that it wont for some reason but should I expect it to come in since I am pumping frequently. I'm basically hoping I can pump only and not use supplement. Thanks all!
