When did your milk come in after birth?

I’m 2.5 days pp and omg it is killllling me. I felt something dripping from the other side when I was feeding her and thought it was blood bc my nipples hurt so bad. But it was just milk lol. And the side she was feeding from felt tingly and almost kind of numb after she got off 😮 it’s so crazy feeling. But man does it hurt!! Any remedies for the pain??

The day of having my son mine came in. I was a lucky one, but he never latched correctly so I had to pump which was even more excruciating to me, then him latching poorly. I just used ice and showers to help pain.

I never had any come in , I guess that's because I didn't try it / he didn't stimulate production soon enough. I was on a bunch of drugs after my csection that I couldn't BF with for the first 3 days and by the time we got home we were pretty set in giving him the bottle. Now 11days after birth, I did notice a small stain in my bra that looks like I may have had a few dribbles but aside from that , I have no pain or even discomfort and my breasts have had no visible physical change.

With both my babies my milk came in at 3 days PP. I use lanoline and it helps with nipple soreness. When you’re engorged definitely pump if baby isn’t eating enough which is likely that early.

Took about 2 days, I guess. Gel cooling breast pads help with the pain, but letdown never seems to get easier.

7 days the first time, 6 the second time.  I remember the first time, I kept thinking my milk had come in, but it didn’t actually.  When it did, I KNEW 😂. You’ll get rock hard engorged boobs and nursing or pumping provides incredible relief.
