Should doctors that do extreme plastic surgery’s lose their license?

So recently on Snapchat I saw a “Hooked on the look” video, this woman wants to have the biggest butt in the world. I think so far she’s had 4 Brazilian butt lifts from the same doctor and is going in for her 5th. He was hyping her up about how far she’s come and how excited he is to do another butt lift on her. Her ass is scary huge, and butt lifts are insanely dangerous. Should doctors like this be reviewed for a possible license suspension or do you think that as long as a patient requests it that it’s okay?

YES. It goes against the hippocratic oath to willingly perform a risky procedure that isn’t medically necessary. I don’t care how much money they are offered, no REPUTABLE surgeon will perform a surgery of this nature. If a surgeon is willing to risk his stats for extra cash, then it’s not a surgeon I want to put my life in the hands of.

Imagine the backlash if he refused. “  Her body her choice! Its not a man’s decision how a woman should look! Argh! Off w his head!”  She legitmately WANTS the biggest butt in the world. Unless shes getting sick from these or hospitalized, then, her body her choice right?

Yes I think so. Any patient who does extreme plastic surgery actually should see a psychiatrist and a surgeon should be able to recognise signs of body dysmorphia. In all my years of working for a plastic surgeon, we declined people who wanted to go overboard.
Not just that, but the actual risks of constantly going under general anaesthetic needs to be taken into consideration.
It never happened to us, but there was a surgeon at a nearby hospital who did large volume liposuction (we did not do more than 3l and refused anyone who wanted more. This surgeon did up to 10l). He had more than one patient due of blood loss on the table.

She's warned of, and knows the risks and still wants to do it. 
If that surgeon doesn't do it there will always be another that will. 
She makes money from having a massive arse, and he makes money from making her arse massive.

The people who voted “No- it’s up for the patients” - fair enough. Your body your right your decision.
But let’s remember that the surgents are doctors who swore the Hippocratic oath to help life and do no harm

Yes, at some point it becomes unethical to perform a surgery regardless of if a patient wants it.
Licensing is how professions maintain standards and credibility. If a plastic surgeon is willing to do anything for money, they should lose their license. Lawyers, CPAs, doctors, etc have licensing for a reason.

There needs to be a point that the drs decide it’s dangerous for any more work to be done. But some just think about the money they’ll get 🙄

Most of these extreme transformations go against safe medical practice so yeah they should loose their license. Safety and functionality should come first. I've seen so many shows where they complain they can't breathe right out of their nose because they pinched it in so small, or they have all sorts of complications from implants that are too large, etc.

They are kind of just doing their jobs. It is 100% the patient that takes blame for that. It’s a different story if the doctors messed up the surgery or did something wrong but as for getting bigger butts, boobs, lips, etc. it’s all up to the person that asks for it. That girl said she wanted a huge butt and while it may be gross to see that happen it’s not really up to society to say “you can’t do that because it’s gross” so to suspend a doctor’s license for doing their job would be useless.
