So I was talking to this guy and hooking up with him since late November . I didn’t know if we were dating or just hooking up since apart from the sex we’d text all day every day. He would also take me to the movies or to eat, for late night drives, and he took me on this weekend getaway to a cabin . He paid for it all despite me always asking to split it. Which is why I thought okay maybe these are dates . Whenever I tried to ask what was going on between us he’d just ignore and evade the question. I didn’t want to sound like I was needy for a relationship or commitment. I just wanted to know where we stood so I knew if I had to stop talking to other guys lol.

Anyway I decided to find out. I told him that my doctor recommended I’d be off of sex for awhile and that my follow up appointment isn’t until the first week of March. This was the first week of February that I told him this. It wasn’t completely a lie as I did get a UTI and you shouldn’t have sex while you have one, buuut I have been cleared for a while now . However since then he hasn’t asked me to hang out. Not once. We still text but I’ve noticed he doesn’t reply as fast or as much as he used to, and I’ve seen him since we have friends in common and he doesn’t even say hi sometimes. I’m kind of hurt as I was getting to like him and he was sending mixed signals.

Like if I was just a hookup I would rather be told straight out, I honestly don’t have a problem with that. A girl likes the no strings attached thing just as much as the next guy. But I was just bothered that he sees me and doesn’t even try to make conversation. Sorry for the rant.
