21& want to drop myself from my moms insurance.. is it possible?

Reason why i want to drop myself is bc i was screwed over w/ my moms insurance “Aetna” 
So many bills that now im in debt! Im now possibly pregnant w/ baby #2 and I definitely want to get off my moms insurance. We haven’t even spoke to each other since my LO’s birth so might as well, right?

You can drop yourself from insurance whenever you want, but with no insurance your bills will be far worse. I assume you have a plan for alternative insurance after you drop your moms?

I have the same insurance as you and I’m pregnant as well (I have a chronic illness so I get to keep my Medicaid after my baby is born) but I would suggest applying for Medicaid between the two of them I don’t pay for anything now. 
I also highly recommend this if your mom is employed through HSHS hospital sisters (my dad is) so I’m familiar with the deductibles and copays. 
But being pregnant you cannot go without some sort of insurance. I also wouldn’t rely on Medicaid alone either cause they can drop you right after the second baby is born, then once agin you are screwed.
