Taking a bath?

I was told when leaving the hospital not to take a bath due to my stitches. I’m 3 weeks and 3 days pp. do you think it is safe to take a bath yet?

I always think it’s interesting what different advice we get. I was told for both of my babies to take 3-4 epsom salt baths a day to help with healing

I was told I have to wait until my 6 week pp visit. I’m dying for a nice bath... and to not feel like I’ve been wearing a diaper for ever!! I hate pads.. ugh

I was told by my drs after all 3 of of my vaginal deliveries (2 with stitches 1 without) to take an Epsom salt bath once or twice daily to help with healing. And it helped a lot! I don't understand why some women are told not to bathe. But since you were told not to maybe you should call your dr and see if you can now.

I was told to wait until my 6 week appointment. I didn’t listen. I had a bath at like 3 weeks postpartum.

No baths until after the 6 week check per my OB. I could do epsom salt dip baths though.
