In 2010 I was diagnosed with gct of the bone. (Giant fell tumor) in my right tibia. Witch is a no cancerous tumor. But in 2012 the tumor had spread to both my lung. At this point I was just about to turn 17.. my biggest great was having lung cancer. I was told nope it wouldn’t and couldn’t be cancer. So I got to live a simi normal life.. in 2015 I had the lung tumors removed event went one as Normal till 2017 I hit my knee on a table and it cause my foot to swell an lose blood flow. Well after about 7 weeks of waiting I got the results that I had. Massive tumor in my tibia/ knee. Then a few weeks later I found out the lung tumors were back. At this point I am 22. I did chemo for six month to shrink all the tumors but mainly the one in my knee. Well it shrunk my lung tumors but didn’t even shrink the one in my knee at all. Well I had knee and tibia replacement and a bunch other stuff done. My leg got infected an so I was in an out of the hospital I ended up having 3 extra surgeries because the infection. Then on my 23 birthday I found out the tumors in my lung were back again and I needed another knee surgery. Well just a couple weeks after that surgery I got a letter in the mail from dr. Saying I had cancer. I was diagnosed with giant cell tumor of the bone and secondary militant neoplasm lung. I called the dr and they told yes I had a secondary cancer. I had been fighting cancer for 8 years and had no clue. I felt like I was lied to by so many people.. well I went back to my dr in October and the mass they found in May had triple in size so they were extremely worried about it so I went in Jan 4th to have it removed.. while I was in surgery the dr had taken out my whole bottom left lobe and a big wedge from the upper lobe where the mass was.. my life since ones 15 has been doctors. As of February 13 I am cancer free!! My doctor said be a happy healthy 23 year old. Me and the hubby finally have started trying to have a baby. I just pray my body will let it happen.
