Ranting

Maybe I’m just a crazy first time mom but it drives me fucking crazy when my MIL tries to take away special things form me. Like now it’s her trying to buy her her first Easter dress 🤦🏼‍♀️. And with my SOs grandma feeding her solids for the first time without asking me first when she was exclusively breast (milk) feeding. I get that is his first baby but she is my first baby too. I’m her mom these things are important to me and I feel like his family is so pushy and controlling. Like I’ve always wanted a girl so I can dress her up in cute dresses and do her hair and stuff. Maybe I’m just over reacting but it’s like I’ll only get these moments once.
