Camping in the heat

Hiii everyone!

My hubby and I wanted to go away on a baby moon. We love camping with the dogs along the Murray River. It’s totally free camping where we bathe in the river! We’re very self efficient and have everything we need.

However it is going to be 35-38 degrees (96-102 f) the whole weekend, dropping to 20 degrees (68 f) over night.

I just want to know if anyone else has gone camping during the heat when pregnant? Can anyone suggest ways to keep cool during the day?

Or would people not go? We won’t have a chance to go camping before the baby arrives...and don’t want to rent a house or anything.
