When is the right time?

When did you & your husband decide it was the right time to start having babies? How did you guys discuss it? What made your husband decide he was ready? Please leave kind advice below.

We were back and forth on kids when we met and throughout our engagement and two years of marriage. I was on the pill and get a year supply. I told him “so my year is almost up should I go back and get another year orrrrr” and he said “nah don’t do it. We own a house and I want to be a dad, we can financially, you’d be a great mom etc etc”. So I didn’t and over the days I would ask if he was sure and if we’re ready and it just flowed all together :) now TTC about six months

I’ve been ready ever since we got married. He wanted to wait, and I was okay with that. We both agreed that we couldn’t wait to have kids, but once you have kids, they are your whole life and your life revolves around them. We wanted some time for ourselves, and that is what we did. However, he warmed up to the idea way sooner than I thought he would. He brought it up to me, and told me to go off my birth control. I went off BC after being married for 8 months. 😊 now just waiting for that positive!

My husband said no babies until we own a house. So we saved and bought a house and a month after moving in he was like are we doing this or what? lol

We started trying when we knew the baby would be born after we get out of our lease for our apartment and then buy a house. We've both always wanted kids so he was really open to it

Nothing hard about it for us we were financially,physically and mentally ready for a child we started trying the month after our honeymoon (February 2018 was my first full cycle) and got our bfp july 22nd 2018
