How to move out of parents house?

I am ready to move on and live my life away from my parents. My mom is always in my business and I have no privacy. I can’t even cry in the comfort of my own home. I need a way out. How were you able to get your money together enough to get by out of high school?

Get a job. Save a few months. Then find roomates. Try to save 6 months worth of rent and expenses. Rent, food, bills, medical expenses, entertainment etc. Then move out.

15 years ago, on my 18th birthday and with only a few months left of high school, I literally threw my shit in my car and never returned.. but in order to make that happen I worked two jobs and opened up a secret savings account, my mom had no clue because if she did she would have demanded I give her most of it. Also my boyfriend, now husband, also worked and put money aside. We became friends with a young married couple who were looking for roommates and they knew how badly we wanted out. My husband, who was already 18, moved out while his parents were out of  town.. it was pretty glorious walking in that house and letting my mom know that I was only there to grab my shit and I wasn’t coming back.. and I never did come back!! Now that was possible all those years ago but it may be unrealistic today with how expensive rent is, and in some states, like California, they won’t let a minor work without a work permit. Best advice for you is to get ajob and save as much as you can and then get roommates or get into college and look into college dorms..
