I normally don't post but today was the last straw.

So I've been on and off with my fiancee for four years. Those off years occurred because he created this golden rule for our relationship, which is unless it's a male family member, there should be no contact with the opposite sex. At first, I thought this was unreasonable but after time I relented because he doesn't associate with women and it seemed like it really mattered to him. The next rule was dont like any pictures posted by the opposite sex. Meaning, I cannot comment or like a picture of a coworker's child, simply because a man posted it. Now I'm not "allowed" to go on social media save Quora and Glow.

Today was the breaking point though. From 1:00 to 1:30 I transition from being in class to working at the school which doesn't leave me much time to get some lunch, go to the bathroom, and take my classmate home. Still, he expects me to call him everyday at 1:00 no matter what. So today I speak with a staff member about externship, when he calls me. Of course I dont pick up because I'm busy. He gets mad. I tell him I'll call at 3:30 on my lunch break

However, during work my best friend calls me and tells me shes getting married. It's a big fucking deal. So at 3:30 I call and tell him I'd like to spend my break talking to my best friend. Not only is he mad, but now he wants to have a "relationship" talk tonight because I apparently dont take the relationship seriously. Wtf? Am I supposed to be at his every beck and call or is it that important to contact your SO everyday at a predetermined time?
