Confused need opinions and insight please.

So I have irregular cycles. Normally when I have a long cycle like this last one I won’t have another one for a while. I started on February 4th and just finished February 24th. My husband and I had intercourse last night. It wasn’t rough at all. Gentle and sensual. This morning I’m bleeding bright red. Not heavy and I just see it when I wipe. Can anybody tell me what’s up?

Edit: my husband and I are trying to conceive one more baby before we decide about birth control.
