Im honestly so upset. I live in NM and my whole family lives in TX. My mom decided that as a gift she was gonna throw us a baby shower and obviously it was to be in tx because not all of my family can afford to fly or come over here. But thankfully my MIL is also throwing one and my friends are throwing me one aswell so in total i will have three. At work i asked for friday off (the day we will drive to TX), saturday (my moms baby shower), sunday (inlaws baby shower), monday (friends baby shower), and tuesday (day we drive back from TX). So at work i asked for these 5 days off since january and my baby shower is already next saturday and management hasnt approved any of my days. I talked to the store manager and he said that hell get back to me on monday and i just wanna cry because my superioir is on vacation this whole week, my two coworkers that work in the same department as i already got their bacation week aswell. I asked for 5 days off but saturday and sunday are my official days off so i technically only asked for three. Im starting to think i wont get them off at all😔

Also, the only reason as to why im having three baby showers is because not all of my family and friends could make it to the one on saturday so insted of having three separate ones weeks apart we decided that we could have them one day after another so i wouldnt have any problems at work regarding me asking for so many days off.
