Anyone have an ultrasound tech correctly guess gender early?

Yesterday I went in for a routine ultrasound at 12 weeks +6, the tech was measuring and noted I looked like I was actually 13 weeks +6 and asked if I wanted her to do a quick potty shot peek and guess the gender since I was “farther along.” She guessed girl and said, “I don’t see anything about this baby that looks like a boy to me, but don’t hold me to it.” Haha. I was shocked (in a good way) because I didn’t know she was even allowed to give me a “guess” this early on. Especially because this was routine at my doctors office and not one of those early gender places. So has anyone had a tech guess this early? Were they right or wrong?

Side note: I’m not holding her to anything or getting over excited. This is my 3rd baby and I’ve never had this happen, normally lips are sealed, so I want to hear others experiences.
