I LOVED reading these when I was pregnant.

So I got induced at 40+2 days started at 2am with iv and pitocin slowly going from a 2 on the pump to I think a 16/18 at the end. Around 4cm I asked for the epidural because I knew that was something you had to sit perfectly still for and I didn’t want to be in so much pain that it was too hard for that. Well it took them about 4 tries to finally get it in and it started working like a charm. Well they kept checking me after and I didn’t really make it much past 4, maybe barely a 4.5. It starts to wear off on one side making only my left back hurt. They finally fixed it. Again after a few hours I haven’t progressed past 4/4.5cm and I’m hurting and thinking she is stuck and I’ll need a c section. Well finally all the pain stop. So they broke my water and sat me up in the bed. Well that caused my epidural to slowly makes it way away from my belly/back and end up at my feet. Holy shit ouch! They finally lay me back down on my side and the pain doesn’t stop. Every contraction I’m in so much pain, squeezing whatever I can to make it through them. Finally they fix it and all I start to feel is pressure inside where the contraction push her. I quickly make it to an 8 then an hour later I’m a good 9 but some of my cervix is stuck on her head because she is slightly turned. My dr comes in and after a couple of pushes, my body just takes over, he moves my cervix and we just wait for me to be a 10. Within an hour every contraction my body is pushing without me really doing anything. Finally comes the time to push push and after 13 mins she arrives. The last three pushes she gets vacuumed because her heart rate dropped. Ouch! I felt so much pressure. I ended up tearing from my vagina to my butt hole, so I basically now have a designer butthole 😂 she ended up being 8oz smaller than my first but 1/2in longer and did more damage! So freaking worth all the crazy ness that went on.
