Does your baby like bathtime?

My baby is 3 months and he still hates it, I have tried warm water, room temp water, wraping him in a towel. Nothing seems to work, he cries soooo much. It is so frustrating and I hate bathing him because of it.

Have you tried placing a wet washcloth on his tummy to keep him warm? That completely changed things so us. We also constantly re wet the washcloth to keep it warm.

My little one wasn’t sure about it at first until I left the faucet running and she loved it. Not great for water consumption, but maybe worth a try? :)

My daughter didn’t mind her baths at the beginning but now we take a bath together every 3 days and she LOVES it. I start by just letting her lay on me in the tub then I let her float in the water while I support her head and make sure no water gets in her ears. Then I rinse and dry her face, wash her body, breastfeed her while pouring the warm water over her so she doesn’t get cold, burp her, then wash her hair last so she doesn’t get cold.

My daughter used to hate it and now she’s getting use to it. Just make sure the water is covering her body so she won’t get cold and the heater is on. I wash her body first then wrap her in a towel and wash her head.

My babe Loves it and has since the beginning. He has giggle fits recently when we bath him.   We warm up the house, the water is warm but not hot, use the blooming bath in the sink, he floats in the water with it and loves it.

Both of my kids loved taking baths. I did however have to leave the water running and the teemo was on the warmer side.  I have boys and I would use their pee pees to gauge the water temp.  If it was retracting, then I would turn the water a little warmer until it was normal.  I would also have a wet wash cloth on their bellies.  They never cried.  Maybe the temp is too low or the room temp to cold.  68 is cold in my opinion.  We have our house at 72. But I think the thing that really helps is having the water constantly running. That way, they continuously have a fresh supply of warm water.

I use the space heater and keep the water running. It makes it nice and toasty in the bathroom and she likes the sound of the water. Not great for bills but 🤷🏼‍♀️she hated bath time too

Have you tried just a sponge bath. My lo hated being wet at first but we slowly introduced bath time by starting with sponge bathes then in a tub with a mesh liner, water barely touching him then more and more. He now loves bath time
