VBAC possible?

My last pregnancy was a disaster and ended in an emergency c-section because he got stuck and I had Preeclampsia. Is there any hope for me having a VBAC? It’s been over 18 months since I have been pregnant so I’ve had time to heal and I have a horizontal incision on my uterus.

It’s possible. One of the most important factors will be your provider and how supportive they are of VBACs. Check the csection rate of the provider and hospital before hiring. Seriously consider hiring a doula to support and advocate for you during labor.

Get a midwife! Doctors are notorious for pushing babies to come out how they want them to. Doctors think they can enhance the birthing experience by their unnecessary and harmful interventions. Midwives know that your body will do what it needs to do, she'll just keep an eye out and stay out of the way.

It is definitely possible. I recommend taking a HypnoBirthing class or finding some kind of practice to do daily to get you into a relaxed state. It will make birth safer, faster, and less likely to need interventions. And you can always switch care providers if they don’t support you!

Yes it's possible...I think. The only reason my docs aren't pushing for a vbac is because I didnt dialate, but if you dialated and all went pretty smooth up until him getting stuck I bet your docs would be fine with you trying again.
