DNA test

The father of my child wants a DNA test.. I’m 5 weeks today.. he says he wants it done as soon as possible.. he looked up how soon & it says anywhere from 8-12 weeks, just depends on how early your doctor is comfortable with doing it.. But, it says it’s invasive & there’s a small risk of miscarriage.. I’m scared to do this, this early because I’ve had a miscarriage back in October & don’t want to have another one.. as anyone had a DNA test done this early in pregnancy & was everything okay?
