Basically, I am 16 and my boyfriend is 19 , we have been together for 2 years , I love him and I’m very serious about him and our relationship, to mark our 2 year anniversary we wanted to go on a weekend/ 3 night holiday together somewhere not too far like Spain or Cyprus ( I live in London) so it’s like 3 hours away , he offered to pay for flights and hotel since he works full time , and since I’m still in college and only work weekends, I offered to pay for food and activities, like scuba diving for example , it is my dream to wake up in another country together in the hot weather and I am responsible and aware of the laws in other countries and also aware of different circumstances that could possibly happen ,

However , my parents are quite protective, I am 16 so legally I am allowed to go without their permission but I would rather have them be okay with it that be ‘an annoying teenager ‘ since im very close with my mum , the main reason is that I’m too young and don’t know much about travelling, however I’m lucky with a travelling expert who has been travelling alone since he was 14 (to visit family) I know I may seem young but is 3 nights really that bad ? It’s not too long I know but it gives us 2 whole days to enjoy the beach and the local food , I have slept over at his house before for 3 nights in a row before during the holidays , I’m just here to know what everyone thinks and if I should try and persuade them even more or just let it go
