Bumbo??

Question

Has anybody started putting their baby in a bumbo? I can’t believe I’m saying this but I feel like my almost 7 week old has enough head control to sit in one for short periods of time! She’s getting bored and we need more things to do!

We started the fisher price sir me up seat today which is similar. He is 6 weeks. I just put a blanket around him in case he sneezes since that’s the only way he would hit his head 😂 but the bumble doesn’t support the head at all so if you aren’t sure I’d wait. Here’s a picture of what we did.

I am personally not a fan of the bumboo just because it does not give good support! We started the sit me up around 6 weeks. It gives WAY  more support!!

Bumbo is a big no for me just because even though he has a BIT of control he’s not always completely stable. I have a sit me up like above and I love it however I haven’t put my own baby in there he’s six weeks and I personally don’t feel he’s ready 🤷🏻‍♀️ but at work (daycare) we use it allllll the time for the younger babes 😊

We started putting our 6 almost 7 week old in hers yesterday and she did just fine! She liked being able to sit up and look around.

I just saw a PT say that if you have to support them in any way that they're not ready for the Bumbo 🤷 
More tummy time? More toys in front of baby?
