My son has this rash/irritated area on his cheek. The doctor said it's just where he's drooled and it's been rubbed raw by his hands or clothing. She advised neosporin + Vaseline until it heals and then chapstick to shield it from damage.

We've been doing the neosporin + Vaseline since tuesday and it seems to be getting worse. Tonight while feeding its looking kind of bloodish.

Has anyone else dealt with this or have suggestions to get it to heal?
