Did I have a miscarriage?

So I was 10 days late for my period and then once I hit 11 days I started bleeding and it was clumpy blood. And before that i had bad cramps in my abdomen and pelvic area. I’m not sure if I had a miscarriage or not, I have an appt with my primary physician Tuesday to see I I did or not. I’m hoping I didn’t because I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years now and we have been trying to have a baby...he has twin daughters and they are 2 1/2 years old...I’m hoping I didn’t because he is really upset because he thinks I did and so do I but I’m not positive because I have never been pregnant because I was on the depo shot for 6-7 years...I’m not sure how to handle it if I did or not. And I’m not sure what is going to happen Tuesday’s when I go to my appt but I plan on telling my dr about my symptoms and telling her about my bleeding...could any of you give me advice on how to handle it? 😔😔😔
