Tax offset help

omg so I checked the status of my refund n it said it was sent to my bank on the 27th and something about a refund offset. I called and it said the department of education took ALL our refund. Does this mean, we aren’t getting shit back? Or do I need to call, schedule payments, n they’ll give us our refund back?

I’m seriously so mad. My school shut down about a year after I finished and I was suppose to be able to go back to school whenever I wanted. That’s why I chose that school! Now I’m stuck with this loan to pay back. Smh not right. I have 2 kids!! Yes I need this money. Why didn’t they do this last year?
