IUD, Ovulation day and softcup method?

Hi ladies!

My hubby and I have been ttc for around 6 months after having my Mirena taken out mid last year. We have an 8 year old and a three year old and we unexpectedly lost our third baby almost halfway through my pregnancy early last year (we still don’t know why). I have never had to wait so long to get pregnant as I have experienced these last couple months. Has anyone else had trouble conceiving after having their IUD out? I only had it in a few months since I developed horrible symptoms from it. I just hope I didn’t screw up my whole system because I was literally terrified to get pregnant initially after my miscarriage. We are in a much better place and have worked through our grief and excited at the thought of having another baby.

On another note, I heard about the method where you insert a softcup (menstrual disc) after sex to aid in conception. Has anyone tried this with success?

Also, today is ovulation day, so here’s hoping for a BFP in two weeks and a sticky baby!
