When are you telling close family?

I’m only 4 weeks and miscarried with my last pregnancy I feel unsure if I want to tell anyone until my first scan at 8 weeks. My husband and I are currently in our own bubble lol it’s nice but at times I’m busting to share the news with our families 💕

I’ve had two miscarriages. First time I told my family right away when I was pregnant and it helped to have a support team when i miscarried. The second I didn’t want to tell them and regretted it when I miscarried and they learned of the pregnancy as I was driving to the hospital. It’s important to me at this point to have support each step of the way and always celebrate the little life from the moment I learn I’m pregnant. I told everyone this time around but that’s what’s worked for me.

Just found out this morning about 4 weeks 3 days. Told my husband the second he woke up. His mom and Grandmom spent the night last night. I asked if we should go out and tell them. He screams down the hall: “Paige is pregnant!” Grandmom says let me see the test. And that’s how we told his mom and grandmother. I’m waiting either till April 13 for my dads birthday to tell him. Or when we get approved for our first house which will probably happen first. I’m going to look at him when I share the news that we got approved that he needs to go up in our attic and get my crib and changing table set down. That I would like to use it. And see how quickly he puts it together. If I tell him on his birthday I’m going to get him something that says “soon to be grandpa again!” (Again because my older brother had 4 kids making him a grandfather first).

I decided not to tell my parents until 13 weeks with my first pregnancy. I knew they were going to be really mean and stressful towards me when they found out I was pregnant (I was 19) and I didn't want to deal with their stress just in case later I had to tell them I miscarried and listen to their half assed condolences after being bitchy about me being pregnant. I don't regret waiting.

We are telling our parents this weekend, 4 days after we found out and I'm 5 weeks today. They would guess as soon as I'm not drinking so we want to tell them how we planned! Also think it will be more real if they know xx

I told my parents a week after I found out. I also had a missed miscarriage in December and they were a HUGE emotional support system for me. I’d like that again should I need it. ☺️

I’m 4 weeks & we’ve told our immediate family. We’ll be waiting to announce to everyone else till I am at least 10-12 weeks along.

This is my first pregnancy and we’re not telling anyone until after my first dr appointment in 3 weeks. :) so I’ll be about 8 weeks by then

I had a mmc last time, so I’m waiting until we see a heartbeat this time. Praying that happens 🙏🏻💗🤞🏻
