Thoughts?

So I’m in 8th grade and my friend is dating this guy and they’ve gotten pretty touchy. She told me that she wants to have sex with him but I didn’t really know what to say. I feel like we are way too young right now to be doing that yet. I just want her to be safe. What do you guys think?

You could talk to her about it. Bring up teen pregnancy, stds.. ya know.. all the basics taht can come from sex. 
Sadly, she will make her own choices. Be there for her. Encourage her to make wise decisions.

I think she should at LEAST wait until highschool, middle school is way way too young. She's getting caught up in the moment- and needs to actually think through the risks etc.

That’s good that you’re keeping your friend safe! 
Make sure she’s completely comfortable if they have sex and they use protection. Also keep in mind any backup plans (in case shit hits the fan) and that you’re able to be there for her and her decisions after she becomes sexually active. Maybe even tell her to start getting regularly check ups at Planned Parenthood (or something similar) when she starts having sex to make sure she’s healthy. Oh, and of course make sure she still cares about school work. :)
