I’m Comparing previous pregnancy with current pregnancy ultrasound at 8 weeks 1 day. 
- Current pregnancy confirmed fetal heartbeat of 169bpm. 
- can someone explain to me why the yolk sac seems so visible on previous pregnancy but not this one? What does this mean?

My guess would be it’s just the positioning of the baby and the yolk sac making it so you don’t see the yolk sac in the current ultrasound picture.

During our ultrasound the ultrasound tech showed us the little yolk sac but in the picture we had printed you couldn’t see it. It’s probably just a different position or angle than last time.

Was the yolk sac one transvaginal and the newer one abdominal? Because it looks to be that way from the pics. I had a transvaginal ultrasound done at 8 weeks 3 days and could see the yolk sac but with my friends who had abdominal ultrasounds done around the same time, you couldn't see the yolk sac. If that's so, it's just the angle.

I saw the yolk sac during my ultrasound but not in the pictures printed off. I’ve seen many ultrasounds that look like the bottom.
