Is it normal to have heart palpitations and chest discomfort when on your period?

I’ve noticed that I usually get heart palpitations when on my period and a feeling of discomfort on the left side of my chest, It’s lowkey scary and I was wondering if it’s something I should be worried about

I have a VSD heart condition had it since birth I was very ill, I’m telling you please go to your doctor it would be a very minor heart defect just please get it checked out xx
