School, Work, & Newborn

Has anyone juggled college with a newborn, work, and being a mom? My mom keeps saying I should have an abortion but that’s not an option to me. If I brought this child into the world they should get a chance to live their life, but Ik trying to juggle the three would be EXTREMELY hard. I don’t want to put my baby up for adoption because I want to be able to raise it when I finish school. Any advice on how to juggle it all?

So your moms pushing for an abortion for the sole fact that heaven forbid you have responsibilities? EVERYONE HAS RESPONSIBILITIES. Im a nursing student pregnant with my third child & I also work as well. Nothing worth it in life ever comes easy, so don’t sell yourself short. 😊 You’ll have your stressful days, but you’ll overcome them & it’ll allllllllll be worth it when you look into your babies eyes💛

I switched to online college when I got pregnant. I graduated a year earlier than I was supposed to and my daughter was 3. You are a woman. You can do it. Focus on your degree and what it will do for your life. Better job done to support your child and role model for your child. One thing I will say is, school did take time away from my daughter. I’ve spent several days at the park “keeping an eye” on her playing while I walked around with a book or laptop writing a paper or studying. Even though I was there I wasn’t really “present” for my daughter. But after I graduated I took time off and gave her back everything I could 😍😍

It can be done, but I won’t lie. You will want help. Today, many colleges offer online classes, states offer childcare help for single parents. You won’t have time for you. Expect to make sacrifices. It will be worth it. It will be rough but lots of people do it all the time.
