How do I make new friends in a new city?

I’m pregnant, 22, just uprooted my life to northern Massachusetts and don’t know anyone. I’m starting at college here in May but I just don’t know how to go about this

Just start college and once u in your classes u will meet people

I always meet people at the gym. Go try a yoga class or see if there is a prenatal yoga class near you. I also made friends at my birthing classes. Church is always a great place to meet people too.

The best way I know of as an adult is to take classes, like art classes, fitness classes, knitting, hiking...basically any hobby you have or would like to try. That way you already have a starting point or shared interest with the people you meet.
