Is it ok to leave baby in a sleep sack all day?

I have a 1 week old. Ive just been leaving him in a onesie and a sleep sack all day. I take him out to feed every 3 hours amd then hes on my chest for 20 minutes out of it as well. Is this ok or should I allow more time out of the sack?

At 1 week that's totally fine. Baby's used to being all snuggly. Eventually you can use putting a sleep sack & pjs on as a "cue" that it's time to sleep but I wouldn't worry about it in the newborn stage. As long as baby is comfy & not hot, you are just fine.

Mine lived in onesies and sleep sacks the first month of his life. Its fine.

My daughter’s first 2 months were just in a diaper. We were burnin’ up in the summer! Lol

I think you should try tummy time and try and take him out and bathe him and stuff.

For the first month or so it’s fine but start to gradually give the baby time out to move. My little guy was in the NICU so he spent the first two months in a sleep sack when he wasn’t eating or spending time on my chest
