Constant contractions 36wks

Did anyone around this time have constant contractions throughout the day? Be it braxtons or those menstrual labor like ones? For the past week I’ve had a mix of both of them back to back. At one point they were 2 1/2 minutes apart and increasingly got painful but eventually went away after two hours. Two days ago I spotted light pink and today a part of my mucus plug fell out.

With my first child I was induced at 38 weeks because of placental issues so I don’t know what it feels like or the signs of going into labor without induction feels like.

Should I call labor and delivery next time I get the contractions and see if they’ll check me? Or just let it happen?
