Can you lie to someone you love?

My boyfriend has always had a problem with money and betting, I thought he had stopped lying about it.

Long story short I know he has won money and he admitted to it so I thought whatever but then he wouldn’t show me he’s bank accounts like he was cropping all the transactions I said if you have nothing to hide show me your accounts he wouldn’t.

My gut instinct is telling me hes lying I’ve never felt so strongly about something. Why wouldn’t he shut me up and just show me he’s account?

This is the boy I wanna marry the boy I want a house and kids with how am I meant do to that if he has a lying/gambling/money issue?

I’ve tried to help him out so much I got him into saving I got him doing everything and he’s lying to my actual face?

I know hes lying I’ve never been so sure I’ve actually ended it and he said ‘okay’

That just shows everything right?
