A hopeful story for those who need it

Three weeks after my husband and I were married he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had the testicle removed and rounds of very intense chemo.

We saved sperm and 6 months after chemo we decided to go through IVF. His counts were so low and terrible before chemo and his surgery. And 6 months after his counts were zero sperm. Even a year after chemo they were still zero.

We have a perfect son via IVF.

It’s been 3.5 years since his chemo has finished and I just found out I’m pregnant naturally. Never in my life did we think his sperm count would come back and high enough to get pregnant naturally.

So this story is for those who are searching for hope. Who’s husbands have had cancer, intense chemo, low counts, to absolute zero counts. There truly is hope. And I’m praying for each one of you going through this difficult ride.
