I'm about to scream if she doesn't shut up!! I'm currently in hospital, I've been here a week for severe pain, I'm vomiting everything and other issues. I'm waiting for an operation in 4 days they hope will fix things. Today after asking multiple people multiple times for some fucking pain relief I get a horrific nurse that spent 10 minutes arguing with me while I cry and rock in a ball that I'm not in pain!!

She told me I'd already had pain relief (oral painkiller that is for joint pain that I threw up less than 2 mins after I had it!!) And wouldn't give me my prescribed iv pain killer. She then spent another 5 minutes arguing that I hadn't been sick even though the bowl was in front of her face! If it wasn't for another nurse coming and telling her I WAS IN SEVERE PAIN I'd still be arguing now!!

After asking for 5 and a half hours I've finnaly gotten some pain relief (which still doesn't take the pain away but gives a little relief for a couple hours). She then tells me I should just go to sleep as if that will suddenly make me feel great after 2 months of being in this pain and vomiting none stop! I just needed to rant because she's seriously upset and pissed me off.

UPDATE, It was due 6 hours ago, Its every 4 hours and I had it at 11.50 and it was after 9.30 when I eventually had it.

She's just been back and told me to get off the phone and get to sleep! One, I can't sleep because of the pain.. and two, I have a sleeping disorder and rarely sleep at home, I usually get 2/3 hours and it's split sleep and dozing! If I wanna go on glow and try to distract from the pain like my consultant told me to I fucking will!!
