A lot of people have been asking about nany showers. This is my second and second girl so we have most everything. I did not plan on having a shower but my cousin is insisting she get to throw one and wants a list of invitees.

I went through this 5 years ago with my second marriage and my new MIL wanting to throw a shower. I agreed to be polite but then had a lot of my aunts and older friends mad because they thought it was rude since I had been married before (first wedding I didn't do a shower bc it was rushed for deployment). I felt bad and embarrassed when hardly anyone showed up and I got chastizing emails.

So how do I navigate my cousin wanting to throw me a shower when family and friends have already proven they would disapprove?!
