Took a test at 8dpo, test again?

My period was supposed to begin today, but it didn’t. I had sex on my ovulation day and day before with ejaculation on both days. I took a test at 8dpo, and it was negative. Should I test again?

I do not have any other symptoms but kind of sore breasts that have twinges of pain here and there (I don’t usually get this symptom, but I have had it before) and sore nipples that I feel when I touch them. I also get cramps that feel similar to period cramps. I feel like I would just know if I were pregnant, but then again, I’ve never been pregnant so I’m not sure! Thanks!
