Ovarian Cyst Rupture

I unfortunately experienced my first ovarian cyst rupture about two weeks ago. It was horrible, I was in an insane amount of pain and the internal bleeding created enough pressure that I was having a hard time breathing! I ended up going to the ER and being monitored for the next day. I was given the choice of surgery or just waiting it out and seeing if my body reabsorbed the fluid.

Anyway, since then, I still off and on feel achey, mostly on my right ovary where the cyst is. Is this normal or should I push matters with the Dr? Everything I read online looks like recovery is pretty quick, but I was miserable for about 4 days after I was in the hospital. I have good days and bad days. Please share your experience!!
