Sore/cracked nipples?

My little one(1 month old) pulls my nipples so fiercely that the remain sore/ cracked almost all the time.. 
any solution to this

Can try nipple cream there are tons of brands. They also make nipple shields that just acts as a barrier between the baby and your nipple to cut down on friction. There are cooling gel pads too you can buy. A lot of women swear that putting breast milk on their nipples helps too.
