Nursing strike ?

My little one is teething and when i was breastfeeding him he bit me and i scared at him maybe he got scared 😔... now he does not want to latch its been 3 days is it time for formula ? I been pumping to keep up but just seems like its not as much as before any advice ?

It happens but don’t let it end your nursing relationship if you aren’t ready! Sounds like baby is teething... maybe offering a cold washcloth to chew on before a nursing session will help. Biting really scared me the first time it happened but my baby’s 16 months now and still hasn’t bit me hard enough to cause damage. Just unlatch and end the nursing session for a few minutes and calmly explain. It’ll go away!

I’m going through the same.  My lo won’t latch  I tho because he’s teething and my milk supply has dropped as well.. I’m trying to keep pumping and power through it but maybe that’s the sign to wean and start with foods?  My lo is 5 months so we had a good run.
