Yeast infection?

About a week ago, I began experiencing some common symptoms for damn near every affliction of the vagina you can imagine. Soreness, itching, and clumpy discharge. My guess was yeast infection but I got tested anyway and my results were supposed to come in a few days ago. Since I got tested, my symptoms have completely disappeared and have been gone for 2 days. Since I'm symptom free, is it safe to have sex?
