What would you do?

My partner just jokingly (I hope) said that he’s giving up sex and sexting for lent

It’s got me thinking. If your partner turned around to you and said ‘I don’t want to have sex indefinitely, maybe never again’ what would you do? This includes all sexual activity, sex, foreplay, sexting, nudes etc. Would you be happy staying in the relationship and having no sex? Would you leave the relationship full stop? Would you request an open marriage? Would you cheat?

In my own circumstances I know I’d request an open relationship. We both have a very high sex drive and when he’s home we normally have sex twice a day. As much as I love my partner, i couldn’t be in a relationship that had no sexual element to it
