First month taking clomid. Was anyone else successful with this?

I've been ttc for 23 months for number two. I'm having unexplained secondary infertility. I was put on clomid this past month and took it cycle day 5-10 50mg. Has anyone else conceived with clomid? I'm currently 8 dpo and I just want this to work so badly but I'm afraid it wont.

I took 50 mg last May and got pregnant with twins but that pregnancy didn’t work out. I just took it for the second time and have my first ultrasound at seven weeks this coming Monday.

I took Clomid 50 mg back in November. I have PCOS and don’t ovulate on my own. We conceived that first round with twins! I’m currently 19+2 with two little boys.

With my first I took clomid 50mg on days 5-9 and was successful with a baby boy. TTC #2 and  had the same protocol and was unsuccessful. Have to take a second round.

Round 1 didn’t work round 2 got pregnant that ended at 5 weeks now on round 3 all 50mg

No,3 failed rounds. 1 round on letrezole and now I’m nursing my 9m old. Honestly, the more I read and had read about Clomid the more I wish I would have never touched it. It also did some funky things to my moods, weight and body while on it. I just wish my doctor would have been more upfront with its rates of cancer, adverse effects, low success rate in comparison to letrezole and that it’s not recommended past 3 cycles by the pharmaceutical company.
