Saline ultrasound

I had one today to check for scar tissue after my d& can. I’m cd 9. I didn’t tell them Because I didn’t know you couldn’t have one if you’re bleeding. I haven’t had a full flow for a few days but had very tiny spotting today before the ultrasound. I don’t remember my first saline hurting this bad I’m pretty sure she scrapped me a little since it feels sore, but I have my iui Saturday and hoping this doesn’t effect it since I was spotting before hand. I’m also spotting more then before but not a full period. Is this normal?
