Pain in my hands, feet and head

I’m a type one diabetic. I was diagnosed in 2007. And I’ll be honest, I don’t take care of myself like I should... Every time I touch my head in certain spots I feel a painful tingle. The past couple of days the pain has been worse. It’s pretty sore like I hit my head. But I don’t remember hitting anything. I feel tingling pain in my hands and feet too. I mentioned this to my mom and she says it sounds like neuropathy? Opinions?
